Remarks

Over all is good. we have a good experience about our college life, there is no bad memory not get any trouble in college life. We had fun. enjoyed everything study and other activities.

Entrance Preview

I have entered through lateral entry as i have done diploma before. for admission i have attended counseling after that took management seat. I choose my course b tech in ece as i have interest over it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty was very helpful. When we are in need they are always there to help us. Study and other activities was fine there, overall all was good.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was to done by us own as there is no option in our syllabus.

Placement Experience

There was many companies come for job fair hcl, tata, etc and there was job fair where we have gone and placement done for students. up-to 5 lac's ann um package.

College Events

Annual festival arranged every year also supports activities also done. in which students participates various singer, actor comes to perform also students take parts in activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was acceptable. as it is organized by govt. rules. college fee was up to 60 k and hostel fee was upto 40 k per year. So its not much like private universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

loan/ scholarship facility was given by colleges and university bot also there was free or less fee for students which are poor bus fee are less for those and other college fees. also if any student get in merit they are also get scholarship.

Campus Life

There are various cultural activities done time to time. Supports activities done also seminar took place time to time. various competitions took place in any festival are there.

Hostel Facilities

College mess and hostel was good. Students get everything what they want warden are helpful. hostel incharge was also good they help us when we are in troubleand need help.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very co operative. They are always there for us when we need help. We never get any trouble because of them. They help us in study and other activities.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was absolutely fine. Labs are well arranged, teachers are always helpful. We got what we want. we feel very proud to be there.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
