The infrastructure is very good in this campus.
The hostel rooms are also good.They are cleaned everyday.
All the teachers are also friendly and qualified and knowledgeable

Dislikes

The schedule is very busy for all the students.
Wifi facilities could have been better than this.
They should have Air conditioner in all the classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have three exams per semester.First two exams are 50 marks for 1.5 hours. Third exam is 100 marks for 3 hours. The curriculum is industry and practical based. They teach professional english and its aspects like giving presentation,writing resume,public speaking.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are good. We are offered internships in 4 year of the degree. Roles offered in the internship are technical roles and industry level roles, which give us the experience of the industry in the time of internship

Placement Experience

80 percentage of students get placed. Maximum package offered this year was 88 lakhs per annum. From 8 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. My plan is get the experience in the industry for two years and then opt for m tech degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for my course is 198000. The yearly hostel fee for six bed ac room is 120000. The yearly veg mess fee is 78800. The total fee would be approximately 160000 in this 4 year course of btech.

Campus Life

We have the two big annual functions that are Technovit and Vibrance. Technovit is technical fest and vibrance is cultural fest. We have good sports and extra curricular facilities. All the labs have good technological provisions.

Hostel Facilities

We have good speed wifi in our room. We have air conditioner in hostel rooms. The mess food quality is decent and we have different varieties of food. We have different types of mess i.e veg,non-veg,special and food park.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I opted for this college for exposure i will get in this college for placements and internships. The average package is better than many private colleges. To opt for this college you give the entrance test for this college.

Faculty

All the faculties are good,qualified and knowledgeable. The student-teacher relationship is also good. We three exams per semester. First two exams are of 50 marks each for each subject. Third exam is 100 marks for each subject.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume.
