Course Curriculum Overview

The college includes all important topics and they follow the trend and update the curriculum based on it . Overall one will develop a strong foundation in this course in the area of coding. The course includes MID Sem as well as END sem and the marking scheme is pretty obvious 40 marks is necessary out of 100 in order to clear an examination for a single subject

The placement cell is good they keep on updating you with the recent ongoing internship opportunities offered by the companies . The placement usually starts in the third year itself. The Placement cell teachers are really cooperative

The placement is usually bqsed on large amount of students interest . They have got good placement ranking for the masters program but for the bachelors it is based on the students if they really want ro get placement and are serious about it

Yearly fees may vary based on the semesters.. overall the fees for bca program was 4,45,000 approx The initial security deposit was of 15000 which they consider in the first semester itself. The college provides various financial aids and scholarships based on your 12th grade marks and other category ad well

Campus Life

The college pays good attention on extra cutricular activites as well . They held sports day every single year...the college has got a decent library which has got all books necessary for the understanding of a programm and its subjects

Admission

I had chosen this college because of the placement that they provide which is very attractive and moreover the name " birla " is enough to catch your attention and without any hesitation you take addmission in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
