Course curriculum is good . This course prepare you well for the sea life which we have to live after passing. Exams are after every 5 months which is of almost one month to end. in betweem there are practicals

Internship are provided by company for some of the students , if not there is a working model of ship in which we have to learn all the things for 6 months. After 6 month we get to work on the ship by compsny

Placement is very good in the campus . Frpm 3rd semester onwards cadets gets placement in some of the companies. companies like stena bw bp msi torm damico and many more come here for placement in the college

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure of college is good. year wise we have to pay 3,00,000 approx. tution fee is 95,000 , caution fee is 20,000 . Everyone is having same fee except girls , they get 50% off in there tution fee

Campus Life

the annual fest is named as horizon which is held in the month of april. technical fest are also going in the college as transtech in which you have to present a working model or you have to presnet a paper of any research

Hostel facilities are very good , ypu get every thing from the hostel , ywe have mess attached in hostel , menu of the mess is different for everyday . veg and non veg both food is provided in the mess

i choose this college because the placement of this college is very good, most of the reputated compnies come to this college for the placement. In other college placement scene is quite low tahn this college

Faculty member are very good , they are having a good knowledge of the course . Course structure is as per syllabus, every thing in the class is tought as per the syllabus only. Exams are ecery semester

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
