Students life in IFIM COLLEGE

Actually was interested in accounting as I secured 100 in my 12th class, I planned to work in UK so i choosed ACCA instead of CA , so i chosen bcom with acca in ifim college. As ifim mentioned acca course will be explained by outside faculty, they didn't provide proper training. We did self study. I suggest the faculties that some facilities always teach us theory where the subject will be a practical subject. There are 3 exams in each semester that contains 60 marks each subject. Actually exams are conducted continuous without giving even one day gap. This will be difficult for students to score high marks

I took admission of bcom with ACCA in IFIM COLLEGE in the year 2022. The fees of Bcom was 100000 and 50000 for ACCA per year. I paid extra 10000 as students council fund at my registration. They fine 10000 if we don't pay the entire fees of year as they alloted date. Yearly they make us to buy kanyathone tickets which cost 2500 for 5 tickets which need to be sold to others. They collect 1500 as semester exam fees.

When I joined to ifim college i performed a small movie act about the twelfth night as inter college competition. Ifim college celebrate every festival in college by encouraging students. There is a library for both commerce and law students where there are limited books and which are older edition. Facilities provided in each classroom is good, there are AC alloted to each class and projector for displaying in white board. Coming to sports, there is no field for conducting any sports in college, there is one small ground in college hostel which is 5km far from college where the sports is conducted once in a year.

I choosed IFIM COLLEGE due to they offer professional course ACCA along bcom where near by college does not provide.i had applied for pes college where there was no bcom with acca in electronic City branch. Actually I applied for many colleges after 12th class, I applied for christ University and christ academy, pes college, jain college. When I enquired about the fees in other college The fees was very high and the seats were filled by taking 10th marks.i selected in IFIM COLLEGE, PES college,christ academy. Among these three I choosen IFIM COLLEGE.when i applied application in IFIM COLLEGE they collected 1500 as my application fees and 25000 as initial fees.there was a online exam which is conducted and interview to select the candidates.

There are less faculties in ifim college that each faculty takes atleast 3 different subjects for each batch. Ration of faculty to students is 1:4. Faculties are very friendly, they share their thoughts and clear our doubts. My best faculties are James sir, shesu sir who are very friendly and expertise in teaching. Actually there are some facilities where we don't like them as we unable to understand their teaching. There are 3 exams in each semester, cie1,cie2, sem exam which are 60 marks. The papers prepared by them will be moderate not too easy, not too difficult.
