A brief about salesian College Siliguri

The course curriculum was really nice. The way the syallbus was prepared and the way each topic was explained, it was really good. Each syallbus for each subject was covered on time with no problem or delays and proper revision were done. Weekly test used to be held for proper revision. There is no suggestions for improvement if our college follows the same they are the best

I was not into commerce department or department which gives intership opportunities. I was in geography department i don't have much knowledge about this. But yes i do have heard from some of my frnds who are in commerce department that many companies do invest and provide intership opportunities in our college. One was tvs which recently came to our college

The details of the fee structure is we don't have to pay any admission fee just the fee for our college uniform was to be submitted. We have to pay fees in three quarters. July we had to pay 21000 November 23200 March 22800 And this fees included course fees, development fees,co-curriculars and maintenance fees,lab fees,etc. And this was the same amount we have to pay for the 3 years course. There us no scholarship given in our college

This college had the best events organised throughout the year. The are various events organised like the Innovision, inscape, exsurge, calibre and many more throughout the year I was also the class rep. so i used to engaged in such events alot. Innovision is the main event organised by our college where almost 100 colleges are invited to participate and we had a grand event always.

I choosed this college because this is one the best college in our town and i had already planned to take admission in this college because i have heard alot about the college from almost everyone. The infrastructure the teachers and all the activities are best in salesian due to which i choosed this college. If i have to talk about the admission process then first we need to submit our application online then we will be called for interview on a specific date and we will have interview with the principal of our college and the head of the department. After the interview if we are selected we will get the mail and have to do the necessary payment like the quarterly fees to confirm our admission

Our college provides the best faculty. In my department each faculty was really good. The way they taught was awesome they used to interact properly talks nicely makes you understand the concept clearly using proper teaching methods. One main thing was the teachers were really friendly whenever their was any problem we could go and talk to the teacher and they would happily help us to solve our problems. Our marking system was of 60 marks for each paper and this was repeated in all exams. And the question are always good. Question are made from what we studied just they used to twist the question so we had to use our brains.

Yes during the interview process we have two things to do. First is the written test where some basic questions related to your subject which you choosed will be asked and also the department faculty will ask you some questions and after that is over we have a interview. Secondly a interview is done by the principal with the head of the department
