Very beautiful and excellent infrastructure. Burdwan University is a public University, and University Institute of Technology is the Faculty of Engineering, of Burdwan University. The campus is full of trees and greenery. Burdwan University administration is very strong and well known for its effectivity.

Here, every student is competitive. Faculties are very helpful, qualified and friendly. if you are interested, there is a lot of opportunities for you to do research on any topic or professors will encourage you to do projects. In every level, you will be getting a huge competition. Yes, there is a huge list of backlogs, but somehow I'll say, if you study well, no one is going to stop you. Here is a lot of opportunities given by professors to collaborate and work on problems related to everyday life. I think your overall personality will get nurtured in this College. And above all, this is A facility of Burdwan University, which is a very glorious university in West Bengal. You will get the atmosphere which is needed to grow.

Clearly speaking, our placement records have never been like UEM-IEMs claiming 123%, rather the picture is somewhat satisfactory. When I got admission in the college, there was a tension about placement because, in that year, the TPO had an accident and died, unfortunately. But with the help of administration, a new TPO has been appointed from the very year, who has shown satisfactory placement records. In this year 97% got placement from CSE and IT combined. Top companies like IBM, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Adobe, L&T, and many more. Many students cracked the interviews and got selected on the basis of merit. Mostly all students got internships. Though I would say the placements are not as good as they were before the last TPO was present. Hopefully, the numbers will grow...

Campus life is very energetic, full of energy and fun... A lot of things to do... You can play table tennis, basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, and many more. A nice library is there. You can go and sit in the AC and learn at your own wish. Seniors are very supportive and helpful. Labs are very well fabricated, all labs have AC, labs are neat and well maintained. We have a photography club, an Entrepreneurship cell, a robotics club, a literary club, a developer club, and Hostel based clubs. I'm the secretary of the E-cell and member of all other clubs, I can assure you, we have a lot of fun to do here.

There is a huge list of the eminent and successful alumni network. Alumni list varies from professors to NASA postdoctoral research scientist, RCCIIT principal is our alumni. Many IES and UPSE alumni. Burdwan University is rich in its heritage, many eminent personalities are the alumni of our University. Most of the alumni are working abroad, countries like USA, England, Germany, Canada, Scotland, Spain, China, UAE, Russia, Philippines, Indonesia, Scandinavian countries, Japan, Australia and many more. We have our alumni working in Boeing, Airbus, Microsoft, IBM, GE, Boston Dynamics, and many eminent multinational companies. We have 3 IPS alumni and 1 IAS alumni. We have a huge network of alumni who actively always are in touch with the University.

I got the college through WBJEE counseling and the admission process went smoothly. I got admission around August, through online wbjee rank. I ranked 2264 GR and I got admission in the University smoothly. The accounts department is very helpful and the officials are more than helpful... The helped me in my every step.

Faculties here are very friendly as I said earlier, they are very helpful in every matter, if you have any doubts in any subject or anything related to his/her subject, you can directly communicate with him later in his/her cabin/ faculty room. As far as I've seen, they help students with huge enthusiasm and the like being in touch with the students. Still very few guest faculty is not that good, but still, maximum faculty members are very good and well learned and qualified to help you throughout the course.
