- Campus and Infrastructure: The buildings are very neat and cleaned
- The Club system is very good here as we get a very good amount of exposure for our self growth and developement.
- The faculties are well qualified and they teach very good. I personally understadn what they teach in one go.
Dislikes
- There is no swimming pool here as it is such a good sport to be fit.
- They dont have any place to sudy in group
- There is no Indoor Badminton Court here to play when there is speedy air which doesnt let us play.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is High Relevance and i think that they are teaching what they should be teaching and will be future proof for our career. The coverage is vast in each of the field so that student haev a wider choice of niche field choosing and can pursue the career in what they liked the most. Practical Sessions are worth the most as it makes us industry ready.
Internships Opportunities
They gave us internship in Summer Vacation and i worked in NGO from Junagadh helping the unpreviledged people to get the food and fecilities they were lacking and that was a very great experience as i did a great contribution towards the mankind because of this work.
Placement Experience
From 7th Sem onwards we are eligible for placements. Companies which come: Shell, Reliance, Tata, L&T,ONGC,Infosys,Wipro,Amazon,Microsoft, and IBM. Highest Placements: 15-25 Lakhs Management Placements: 25-35 Lakhs Average package: 5- 10 Lakhs Management: 7-12 Lakh 80-90% students get placed in the placement selection rounds. I am thinking to pursue CFA and MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
B.tech Tuition Fees: 1st year tuition fees: 253000 to 273000 2nd to 4th year tuition fees: 253000 to 273000 per year (can increase depending on increasing subject) Total Fees : 1012000 to 1092000 Other Fees: Examination Fees: 3000 per year Hostel and Mess charger: 170000 Security Deposit: 20000 PDEU does tend to increase the tuition fees by a small percentage every year depending on inflation and university regulations.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, Events and festivles are celebrated here in a fantastic way, and particularly student's life here can fell each and every emotion. And yes Ragging is banned here so till now i havent seen any ragging done here. The Clubs are very diversified so that student interested in their areas can pursue the club and work for them as a team improving the personality and self development. The infrastructure includes everything from hospital to cafeteria, from smart classes to playing grounds, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The Space is less so i couldnt get the seat in College's hostel but i am living in a private hostel beside it. the meal quality is very good and the menu gets changed every two week. We also have a separate wifi router in each room and AC in each room with personal attached bathroom to each room.
Admission
As PDEU's niche is Energy and Sustainability, I think that everyone should move towards a renewable lifestyle as the world is getting a hotter place to live. By coming into this college i have been getting taught that how can i be a successful engineer but with a mind sustainability and renewable energy usage. Therefore i use my mind to and engineer things in such a way that it is green energy and sustainable contributing to my college's aim. No i didnt apply for any other college.
Faculty
Faculty to Stident ratio is typically between 1:15 to 1:20, which i think is good so that each student can get the mentoring they want form a mentor. The faculties here are very good, some are bad and we have a problem with them but mostly are good. They are very helpful if someone personally wants help in their personal career which i like the most about this college. I have myself taken help of Ankush Raje Sir, Rajesh Desai Sir, Nirali Ma'am, Vinay Vakharia Sir and Hardik Vyas Sir. The teachers here are very good at explaining concepts in an interactive way.
