Very great They are very responsible in students understandings and future and also about their future careers they take good care of students and their intenlligence Our college is the best among the discrict

Class Size: 220Course Fees: INR 500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the free waiver the fees is 500 per year And for the other ones 5000 per year There's many scholarships available in our university according to the students eligibility For those students who are not financially stable the courses are almost free

Campus Life

I have a very great experience in my campus life the infrastructure of our university is very great the classes are full of fans lights and very comfortable for students and teachers to take classes very great

Admission

I chose this college because it is the best college in our district in every aspect Regular classes occurs here whereas in other colleges they don't held regular classes And there is also career development councilling facilities in our university

Faculty

The course structure is like 3 years for bachelors now it has been increased to 4 years There are 2 exams conducted in each semester one is semester exam and other one is main exam or final exam . The faculty is very strict

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

Beyond the classroom: An interactive study of college life.

honestly this college was more preferably cost friendly and flexible from my own hometown and this is the main reason i chose this college over other colleges. I applied to cotton university, guwahati university and arya vidyapith college besides this but managed to get into only arya and my current appointed college. My admission process was based fully on online mode and depended mainly on my high school's percentage but i did appear CUET as well just in case.
