- Faculty are helpful for students all the time.

Dislikes
- For first year students, 4 seater hostel room are alloted
- Students must have 75 % attendance in individual subject for sitting in exam.
- Mess food is not good as i expect and if you want special thing extra you have to pay for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chosen Information Technology (IT) branch . I want to go in IT sector. so, I chosen this branch . This branch have most placement offers and higher average package than other branches in my college.
Placement Experience
In my college, mostly students get campus placement . After 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement. All tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS , Flipkart etc and other Non- Tech companies like BMW, Mercedes etc. Highest Package is 52 lack and average package is 12 lack of my branch (IT). 85 % students getting placement. After completion my degree I want to join Tech company.
Fees and Financial Aid
56000 ( All Gen,OBC category whose family annual income is less than 100000 Or SC ,ST students). Tution fee- 125000, Other fee - 56000, total fee - 181000 ( All Gen , OBC category students whose family annual income is greater than 500000). Tution fee- 41680, other fee - 56000, total fee - 97680 ( All Gen,OBC category students whose family annual income is between 100000 to 500000).
Campus Life
Utkansh is the Annual fest of NIT , Jalandhar. Tech NITI fest is tech fest . Utkansh is held in month of March and Tech NITi fest is held in month of Septembe. More than 150000 books of all branches are available in our college library. Our college allows us to sports competition and many groups and clubs run by students.
Hostel Facilities
One chair, one table ,one bed, one almirah are given by hostel. No extra charge for hostel. Meal quality is descent and menu is also descent . Menu is mostly according to North . For hostel allotment, first you have to pay mess advance payment and after that you can get hostel room. If you want to live on rent , you can get room in Jalandhar City.
Admission
According to my JEE rank, I can get other NIT and other government college .Before that college i confirmed my seat in NIT Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh in Electronic and Communication Engineering branch. But I want to go in IT sector i choose NIT , Jalandhar. I get the admission in this college JEE Main exam followed by Josaa and CSAB counseling.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:90 . Every class room have on an average 90 students. The faculty to student relationship is very good and faculty are very familiar to student. Faculty are easily approachable and faculties are also give their mobile for any problem you can share.
