Our curriculum prepares us with best teaching methods like providing with Qualtative skills and hackathons for placements. They also bring us guest lectures for interviews and many mock tests are conducted for coding to improve coding skills

Internships Opportunities

UNICODE Offers internship for computer science students with stipend of starting 30,000. The roles offered by the company are Frontend developer where most of the computer languages are Python java and c++

The campus placements starts from beginning of fourth year in b.tech,where we have to complete our internships and projects in the third year.last year many companies have reached to our university few are AMAZON ,ZOHO, SAMSUNG,etc. The average package is in between 4-8LPA The highest package previous year was 1.03crs The profile offered are AIML ,Data analyst, Data science,Cybersecurity

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure same for the all courses.although there is a slight difference as we have two sets A and B. A consists of all CSE and ECE and EEE.B consists of civil,aero,mech Engineering. My course fees structure is 200000 per year. I got the scholarship of Category 1.

Campus Life

Many fests are being held. The top two are VIBRANCE And TECHNO VIT. The techno vit usually conduct in September where they show their new inventions club Expo.There are many clubs in our university like VOYAGE, SIRI VENNELA

Admission

I applied for VIT, GITAM and SRM. I got selected in all three colleges but I choose this college since it is known for its placements and good packages.it is also ranking number 2 in shangai Nirf ranking stood on 8th position

Faculty

Faculties are providing us good environment and they also maintain good rapo with students. They provide us with pdf and running notes and recorded lectures through online if we have any medical issues.They challenge us with tough question papers so that it will be good for us and placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
