The geniune review

I would rate curriculum 6 out of 10, some times it feels like its out dated and why we are studying this which will not gonna help us in future and some things its worthy I think improvement can be done in curriculum by adding some subjects related to the industrial bases as i m a electrical engineering student

I heard it some where that college provide some intership to the students to have personal experience for future jobs There are some clubs also which provides you some internship opportunities , all you have to grab those opportunities About company name that i don't know

Nit rourkela is also famous for their placements, in some upper branches placement rate is 100% and i also came here because of the facinated amount of placements, in 2023 data highest placement was 84 lakh per annum, average placement was 15 lakh per annum, median was 12 lakh per annum

As i belongs to sc caste, so my tuition fees is 100% free , all i just need to pay the hostel, mess, maintance and other fee For one semester i pay some about 40,000 as a hostel, mess and other fees and tuition fee is 60,000 per semester which is free for me At the time of admission i paid 41,000 as a admission fee and in total including josaa and csab fee its about around 70,000 As of now the much i know there is no other fees for sc category students For all type of scholarship you can check out the website buddy4study where you can avail all these scholarship according to the eligibility

As till now the overall experience is really good , i explored a lot of things and also the clubs here are very supportive and they continuously trying to reach you out Infrastructure of the campus is such a beautiful, you will fall in love with the infrastructure and beauty from the first day

Hostel facility overall is really nice, there is a washing machine near our room and also they clean toilets and bathroom everyday, inside there are so many sports facilities such as volleyball , badminton, basketball court and table tennis table also gym, tv room Mess food is decent but some times we found pest inside it

I choose nit rourkela over any other college because its one of the best nit's in India and also its in my home state, so i don't have to go outside the state and also its college life is very good which attract me a lot during my preparation days Its better in many circumstances than any other private colleges, its sports facilities is top notch, its fest is also very good Actually in jossa i got nit agartala but i leaved that seat and took nit rourkela Admission process is simple you have to come according the date you have assigned and they will tell you which certificate you have to carry with My college only accept students who qualified jee mains

Faculty is less as compared to the students, in our class 1 teacher is for 118 students and relationship its good with some teachers and some are like very less interactive I like arti mam who teach us english, she is very interactive she ask the class tell about this that.... And i don't dislike but math sir is not that good for me as he change the slide quickly without giving us time to write In one semester we have one mid sem and one end sem, in between they also take some test As i m a new joined student, so i don't know about the difficulty of the exam
