MBA in UPES

The college offers a large variety of courses but is very expensive. If you find a cheaper college than this does opt for that.

As there are 10 domains in Mba particularly, therefore, the course curriculum differs a lot from one another. Apart from the HR and account subjects, every other subject is domain related. For eg as I did from the IB domain, therefore, my subjects were foreign trade policy, trade analytics, international business laws, forex, etc. Therefore it is advised to choose the domain effectively.

Honestly speaking, the placement cell is not up to the mark. Only a few good companies will hire and that too with a condition of b.tech+mba. Mostly sales jobs are provided to the students. No extra efforts from the placement cell. Although they will maintain 95-98% placements the average will fall down to 4LPA especially in the MBA IB domain.

Urjaa is the grand fest which is celebrated in our college in every November. It includes many extracurricular activities and every year a celebrity(singer) is invited to add more thrill. Manthan ( a marketing event) is also run by the students themselves and marketing activities and presentations are its forte events. Other events also keep on happening throughout the year.

Total fees for MBA: Approx Rs.1100000 which includes tuition fees. Per semester fees: Rs. 256000 which is very costly as compared to other colleges like Amity. Apart from that you also have to bear the accommodation cost which lies between 150000-170000 per year. Ideally, you need to have pocket money of 5k per month to sustain a healthy life there.

I did not take any loan. But if you are a topper then you can avail a scholarship of 20% of the total fees.

The campus life is chilled, relaxed and cool.gym is there in both Kandoli and Bidholi campus.food court is also available. The nearby market is 9km away from the college and public transportation facilities are very poor there. A group named 'Sanskriti' is there where top actors can be a part of. Dance groups are also there in the college to perform in any events. Debate competitions keep on taking place and UPES BIDHOLI has a lot of opportunities in robotics.

For courses like MBA, senior students are of no help. But if you enroll yourself in a BTech or integrated law course then you can create a great rapport with your seniors and they can assist you too.

I appeared in UPESMET and got selected for the gd/pi round. In GD the topic given to us was about demonetization and the questions asked in PI round were very basic based on personal and academic life. After 15 days from gd/pi round the final results were declared through calls and via messages and we were instructed to submit the 1st sem fees within a tentative date.

Most of the faculty in our college are Ph.D. scholars. Every faculty has in-depth knowledge of their own streams. All the professors are very concerned regarding the students' attendance, therefore, its mandatory to at least maintain 75% attendance else you will be debarred.
