Course Curriculum Overview
In my last 2 semesters, I had much easier subjects including basic macro and microeconomics, English, Hindi etc.according to me practicing English writing skills helped me and studying about Hindi poems and verse and their poets were of no use. I had only one subject each in my semesters which were much related to my course -insurance.
Placement Experience
I am not a member of the placement cell of my college. But I was well aware of all the internships opportunities as their members regularly posted about them on my class group. I came to know about collegedunia from there only and am currently doing an internship here.
College Events
Almost every event is celebrated in my college. In one year I could experience many events including fashion shows, women empowerment, speech and interactions by business pioneers, college fest college mun, TEDx event, etc. Students have found a way to explore themselves through such events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My annual fees are rs. 10'000 , but this fee does not include examination fees and other expenses. I have to give rs 510 as examination fees for each semester. Also, the notes provided by the teachers have to be bought from the photostat shops. The fee structure varies with courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have neither opted for any scholarships nor educational loan.i didn't felt the need to avail any educational loan.
Campus Life
I have observed one thing that when freshers come, they are taught about various academic societies and cultural societies. They are flattered by bragging about no. Of victories and charms of societies by faculty members. But when actually time comes to help cultural societies regarding clearance, attendance, etc. , then no faculty member cares. Then they don't give importance to the no. If wins of the societies.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are sometimes helpful as they can give you an insight into your course. Many times they also provide with notes and previous year question papers.
Admission
The difference between the day class 12th results are announced and the day when the admission process starts is filled with tension and anxiety. I had to go through various portals and fill numerous details. the most crucial time comes when the first cutoff is released as it sets the bar for the upcoming cutoffs. For getting admission in CVS, I had to wait for 6-7 hours as they have 3 levels of documents verification.
