Remarks

There used to be college fest called Arcedia, tech fest were organised too. Also football cricket and basketball were sporting event. Aot was inter college state champion in basketball.

I have given west bengal JEE and scored a rank 4000 . I opted ece as I can go to software or to core.

We did internship in bsnl.

Placement Experience

I got the job in my first campusing in TCS. At least 15 software companies and 7 core companies came.

College Events

Exam used to be very strict as 3 invigilators used to be present on each room. 2 internal exams and 1 university exam were there. Lab was great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel was good. Clean and well Maintained. 3 times meal used to be given. Mess was organised by students .

Fees and Financial Aid

5 students from each class used to get scholarship according to merit and family income. Tution fee was half for those students also.

Campus Life

For study purpose it is definitely one of the best private institution. Lab facilities are excellent.you will be helped in robotics. Ragging also dominated strictly.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are quite helpful.recently reunion has been organised by alumni.also we are keen to make healthy relationship in social sites.

Exam Structure

Fee structure was according to AICTE.

Faculty

College life was good but some times it is so hard to be disciplined as 75 percent attendance is must.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More

Academy of technology Reality check

I got this this from WBJEE , i wrote this exam and I score rank under 12 k in which our college has cutoff of 20k. I applied for the councelling of WBJEE and got selected in first round .
