Remarks
To take admission in this college, you have to qualify in the WBJEE exam conducted by the Government of West Bengal. The cutoff varies year to year, but in 2024, in the 2nd round of WBJEE counseling, the cutoff was around 25k. Moreover, you can also take admission through Management Quota by paying some extra amount. The college takes 90% of students from WBJEE and 10% from Management Quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in computer from class 9, so I have an aim to do a BTech in computer science engineering. Moreover, the syllabus is also quite easy to complete if we study seriously. Moreover, whoever came from PCM or PCMB can also learn coding from the beginning in this course. So, the syllabus is easy for all, even if the person didn't know coding in their previous 10+2 classes.
Internships Opportunities
The college gives internships from 3rd year onwards. The internship also pays money to the students. Also, the college gives many projects to the students to do, which they can add to their CV to get good jobs.
Placement Experience
The placement of this college is quite good. 89% of students got placed in good companies like TCS, Accenture, Amazon, etc. in 2023. Moreover, this college also conducts special classes for placements where you will learn how to prepare for interviews and crack the interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
For B. Tech programs, the fee structure of this university ranging from rupees one to rupees one and half lakh to rupees one seventy five lakh for the annual tuition fee. This amount may increase minimally depending on the particular program as well as on changes made in this regard by the institute.
Campus Life
The campus life here is very good. You will get to see one big ground, one pond where you can sit with your friends, and the college itself is very big. It has one library where you can read books. Moreover, the college itself conducts many sports activities where you can participate, and if you win, you will get good prizes. There is also a photography club where you can show your skill in photography and get good prizes.
Faculty
The faculty is very good. They teach very well and solve every student's doubt one by one. The college's lab is also very neat and clean, and the teachers also show each experiment hand in hand to each group by making a group of 5 members each.
