What Students Say
Likes
- Campus is really huge, around 250 acres and the facilities are really good
- Fully air-conditioned classrooms and classrooms equiped with smart boards.
- Many hackathon and events so you'll never be bored
Dislikes
- Too many people, It feels kinda over crowded at times
- Waiting for the elevator for taking your classes takes a lot of time.
- It can get really hot during Summers so if you live in a non AC hostel it'll be very hard to live, so you might have to spend extra on something like a cooler/ table fan
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very relevant to today's scenario as for cources like btech, we have subjects like ML Ai, AioT, digital image processing, metaverse etc so it doesn't feel outdated and you learn stuff that'll actually be helpful in the future
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good, many good companies come here but the thing is many students lack the skill to crack the companies and then blame the college, but it's not the college's fault. You need to actually work hard and make projects and practice to crack the interview etc. Mass recruiters come too so that can be as a backup
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly it takes around 4.5L for tution fee (btech cse), you have to pay extra for hostels. Hostel prices vary depending on how many people live in that room and if the room as Ac or not etc, for semester exams you have you pay and additional fee of 3 thousand every semester, there is scholarship available and if you're parent is in the army you can get some discount too.
Campus Life
The overall campus experience is really good, the classes aren't too long and we get Saturdays and Sundays off, normally you'll have like 4hrs of classes in a day, there are many clubs and events that happen very frequently.
Admission
I chose this college because my elder brother graduated from this college too some years back and it was an excellent experience for him and even got a high package, plus as the location of this college is great too, there's excellent connectivity via trains, and the airport is close too. The admission process is pretty straightforward, you select the course that has seats remaining, and the better your rank, the better the preference
Faculty
Most faculties have a PhD in some subject, some professors are really good and some are average, in the end of the day you'll have to work by your own to get good marks which is easy if you're ready to work hard. There are 3 monthly exams and 1 main semester exam, some subjects don't have semester exams and are fully internal based.
