- Here we have to choose our own faculty. My faculty for this sem are so lovely plus helpful. I appreciate that very much and the classes were best. I love that they provide many opportunities to learn and develop u just have to venture further in it.
Dislikes
- The hostels,the food and worst the washrooms. They are never clean and food always sweet do they not have chilli or something
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest the main thing that pushed me to choose this college and course is there rules and regulations. For 3 years we are like a man with no direction but gather a lot of knowledge and then comes the final year where we dump it all together and get our jobs. Means for 3 years straight we study all the main subjects and at the end 4 th year they prepare us for placemnt.
Placement Experience
To be honest as a fresher I dont know the exact details but for intership if u r capable u can start from 2nd year 2nd semester and for placement 4th year 1st semester. I will take placement and start preparing for government services.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is 4.8 lakh and First of all there is no category SC/ST/OBC/General to be honest. Everything is based on marks and CGPA you obtain. I like that about it. There is equality and all. But its too damn expensive what to do. Everything here needs money from a single pen to a large feast and also those ODs.
Campus Life
Clubs are various but it takes some efforts to join them. And for feasts it comes like every two month in succession and you have to pay for ODs and and for entering also. But but but here comes the twists first we pay but there is a fixed seat number and if not available not only will u not get a seat u will also lose your money.
Hostel Facilities
My room is 3 bedded and I got a bed, a table, a chair and a lamp. Thats all. And the food in block is terrible sometimes good like on friday breakfast sunday breakfast monday breakfast and tuesday lunch. For hostel its expensive and registration process they provide a list of documents u have to submit during onboarding.
Admission
I got into NIT Jamshedpur but Civil branch, but from home it took like 2 days just to get there with no relatives or friends near by. To get into VIT u have to give VITEEE, only by this can u get in this university. And the cutoff is u have to get 60% in PCM combined.
Faculty
I dont know about exams but my faculty lemme name them Geetanjali ma'am, Abhishek sir, Poonkuntran sir, Thiyagu Sir and Anita ma'am are best and helpful atleast for me. Just am thankful for my luck whereas my roommates some got not so cooperative faculty u know. So I sure am smug now. Each semester will have 2 main exams mid term and term end with some small mock test between them. For some subjects like calculus 70 % fails cause at starting they are confident and then see what happens.
