Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very relevant although instead of the PPT method few classes could take advantage more from old school writing on the board method but the books used were also really good and enough to increase curiousity of students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was paid semester wise which was Rs. 55,000 per semester including everything and the Mess fee was Rs. 15,000 per semester with the Caution fee of Rs. 15,000 for Academic and Hostel and Rs. 5,000 for Mess.
Campus Life
BITOTSAV was the annual cultural fest, Pantheon was the tech fest they arre typically held in winters January-February, except. Vajra is the Sports fest held around Oct-Nov. These fests were really good and engaging. All kinds of books were available in the huge multiple floor library with good seating space and environment. Faculties and Labs provided were top notch. Sports facilities also was near perfect. Student run Clubs were very active and the legacy continues.
Hostel Facilities
Food was not that good and the quality of water could be improved as well. Cleaning needed to be done more. Hostels were affordable but very small for twin sharings. The trees and scenes were really pretty and the weather too was always nice around the campus.
Admission
I chose this college because it was the best college to do my B.Sc within my state Jharkhand, also the exposure that the college provided was really great students from all over the country and few even from outside the country were my classmates. Faculty were experts on their field and the placement opportunities was the reason I chose this college over another. Admission process at that time was 10th &12th score and then shortlisting basis of that for the Bsc. course.
Faculty
The faculty are knowledgable and experts in their field. The ratio of Faculty to student is pretty good around 200 for 1000 students and all of them are approachable. The exams were of moderate difficulty. 4-5 students used to fail clearing the exams but they too can clear their backlogs in the next semester. The course curriculum of Physics was very relevant and upto date.
