Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum which influenced my decision to choose this course was the broad and diverse aspects of this course and wider opportunities we get in here. This curriculum has up till now helped me a lot to develop my understanding of law. This should continue since it prepares you for future and when you know basic things, difficult things become easy to understand.
Placement Experience
The placement rate of my college stands currently at 34% students being placed. Top Indian Law firms visit our college and give PPOs and offer letters on Day 0. The placement rate keeps on changing as many choose judiciary or litigation as their career options.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is 3.75 Lakhs which is divided into further different aspects. The tuition fee is 1,42,000, caution fee is 25k, registration fee is 3500 for general category while 1500 for category students, counselling fee is 20000 for category and 30000 for general. Admission fee is 10k, academic services and facilities is 43000, student welfare fund is 7000, utility service charges are 20000. Halls of residence charges are 83000 and mess charges are 45000. There are 13 scholarships provided by the university available on its website.
Campus Life
My overall experience is good till now apart from the fact that the college was deserted when one of my seniors committed suicide. The campus life is good overall as it provides you with all basic needs. There are many clubs and activities which one can involve itno and even the infrastructure provided is really nice.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good only that sometimes ACs don't work or maybe hot water is not provided in winters. But apart from that there are no restrictions on hostellers and they have freedom. The hostel and mess fee is around 2lakhs per annum
Admission
None other than the reason that National Law University Delhi stand at NIRF 2 is the proof that everyone will choose this college. I personally chose this college because of its reputation and the wide alumni network of this college. The college also provides for opportunities at both national and international levels.
Faculty
The faculties are really nice and one can approach them for help. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:6. One faculty which I like the most is Prof.(Dr.)Sophy K.J., Associate Professor of Law. She taught me History of legal and constitutional development and I believe she is best because she teaches subject in very depth so as to make students understand. There 2 exams in each semester.
