A comprehensive Experience at NLUD : Balancing Tradition with Innovation in legal Education

Likes

The multiple centers that the university offers, the Moot Competition that are conducted here give you the organizational skills and opportunity to meet partners at law firms and other law students from all over the globe
The wide range of courses that are offered, and all kinds of teachers to help you out
The hostels have AC's and the living conditions are really better if compared to other law schools

Dislikes

Lack of funding for MOOT's and ADR competitions that are organized
the grading system is very different compared to the what it should be ideally
the reduction in the placements every year is a growing concern for the most of the population in college, compared to being NIRF2 more opportunities need to be and more help from Uni's side

Placement Experience:

Campus placements happen on day zero for the 5th year students, though few companies come to NLUD the packages offered are quite high CAM,SAM, TRILEGAL the highest law firms come and hire from here offering 15-17lpa the percentage is quite low

Likes

The exposure to different opportunities is amazing.
The senior- junior relationship is really good
The location of the campus is good for interning in delhi.

Dislikes

Different faculties teach different sections.
Difficult for students with weak english, and for students from a weak financial background
Primary focus on academics and less opportunities related to sports etc. due to small campus

Placement Experience:

The students here opt for diverse career options including judiciary, UPSC, MBA, litigation, LLM, or sit for placements. Tier one firms visit the campus on day zero to offer placements. The students sit for placements at the start of the fifth year.

Breaking the Myths about NLUD

Likes

The college is open to ideas and it is well functioned by the committee's for which we have election.

Dislikes

Though the college is inclusive it is still divided by so called elites and non elites

Placement Experience:

9th Semester. CAM 12 OFFERES; TRILEGAL 3 OFFERS; ICICI 1 OFFER; SAM 3 OFFERS; LINK LETTER 2 OFFER. THE highest placement was offered by link letters singapore and the lowest was offered by EY as of now.

A place to learn

Likes

The faculty, the support for extra curricular activities.
There is a inclusive environment on the campus for different peoples
The location of the college is big advantage.

Dislikes

The lack of financial support from colleges end
With the increased classes, becomes hard to manage all things
There is only one ground for all sports.

Placement Experience:

University provide placements where manytop tier firms come to college for recruitment. Last few years have been bad for NLUD with only 50-60 percent placements. Before that there used to be 100 percent placement.

I like the overall experience and ambience of the college
It is situated in Dwarka out of Delhi and also out of Delhi to so we are near the city and not so near at the same time
I like this place I thought and people here are very sweet and wellcoming

Dislikes

Every place comes with an negative side to so this place has a bit of negative of some addiction issues going on because of the neighbour shop called Santosh Pan shop
The another negative side to the college is its and useful or not so used management which day are trying to still look up on on
I love the college a lot but still there are some mistakes so this mistakes are respectively the hostellers not everybody will get the hostel from your batch sadly

The placement cell which is taken care of Is RCC such of a highly skill individuals and very optimistic at very very scared profound and very available to a students they try very hard to get whatever intercepts and get whatever company we at NLUD really work very hard 4 in the night wake up at 7 and day fully living loving caring and persisting

girls and boys ratio can be a minor comprehension for any type of determination.

Dislikes

there is nothing to dislike there at the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the corse curriculm is nothing but just a matter of time and perspective we dont like other to be trained like they never do. they compete us like boss everything is okay difficulty level for every student is diffrent because everyone has diffrent mindset

Sneak-Peak Into NLUD!

That there is no ragging and seniors are just like any other siblings over here who would guide you and help you to do even little things.
The faculty staff of some subjects is very understanding and helpful.

Dislikes

The college atmosphere is not very good because it creates a lot of pressure on students.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of my college stands currently at 34% students being placed. Top Indian Law firms visit our college and give PPOs and offer letters on Day 0. The placement rate keeps on changing as many choose judiciary or litigation as their career options.

National Law University (NLU), Delhi Review

Placement Experience:

National Law University (NLU), Delhi is the only university in NLU that provides good placement offers and not only placement offers but the university opens the doors of various opportunities for lawyers. For the 2019 batch in which I belong the college was able to maintain the offer package of 15 LPA which is in term was the highest in 2019 for our university and the average salary offer was around 7 LPA. Trilegal, OYO, Steel Authority of India Limited, Khaitan & Co., etc are the names of the few companies and firms that took part in the college placement drive.

Remarks:

Lot more opportunities to grow in Delhi, considering that it is the centre of the Legal Word in India, besides being the capital city. Professors are distinguished, subjects are great, and good internship opportunities.

Placement Experience:

National Law University (NLU), Delhi offers placements for all UG and PG programmes. The University has a placement cell which coordinates with the companies for the placement drives. In 2019, NLU Delhi has secured 100% placements. Some of the students also got an offer from International Law Firms. Students have also secured fellowships like LAMP Fellowship & the Arthur C Helton Fellowship.
