Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course syllabus here is so so backward they are still teaching us 8085 and 8086 microprocessors. Books here in library are very old editions. Althouh teachers are good in teaching . There are 2 sessional exams in one month and 1 end semester exams. Difficuly of exams is a little above average But exam checking is very hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

Okay so university fees here in DCRUST is not equal for both Even and odd semesters. For odd sem we have to pay 35750 rupees and for even sem we have to pay 9750 rupees. But if you are from TFW category i.e. your anuual income is less than 1 lakhs then they give a concession of 8 thousand in your fee so now your fees becomes 27750 for odd sem and 1750 for even sem. And you can also apply for other scholarships like PMO etc. SC/ST students are given benefits in Hostel fee they hostel fees is around 11-12 thousand. Overall fees is not much high one can afford it.

Campus Life

1

Annual tech fest is TECHNOVA and annual cultural fest is RYTHM but they dont paas funds thats why its been so long that any fest has been conducted. There is well maintain library from outside only Books there are of very old editions. No sports or extracurricular activities offered here But there is an active NCC and NSS unit. There are many student run clubs: 2 Punjabi dance groups 2 western dance groups 1 haryanvi mandali 2 Singing groups Active E cell Tecnical society Thinkboats And a management group Sunshine

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel rooms are very bad Hostel food is worst Sometimes there is No water in washrooms there are major power cuts. And Drinking water is also not available on every floor. Rude Mess and Hostel supervisors donot listen to students Food is not eatable here.

Admission

I applied in YMCA Faridabad But my JEE rank was low and I wanted either CSE or ECE and in YMCA I was getting Electrical thats why I chose DCRUST as I got ECE here But ECE branch is best of DCRUST Even better than CSE here in DCRUST. Admission process here is by HSTSE councelling. Here are 2 online rounds and 3 physical rounds of councelling And they only accept JEE score.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is really good. There are only 140 students in a batch whereas there are 15-17 proffesors 8-9 PhD scholars and 5-6 visiting faculty. Exam they make are Average neither so easy Nor so tough but their Marking scheme while checking exams is worst they even fail genuine students and when we apply for revolution they barely paas any student and Even in reappear exams they fail students. And because of this there is a high academic pressure among students. Almost 70% of students of my batch students have a backlog.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
