Remarks

Overall I have a positive experience in my study years. Its a very beautiful college, managements are good to us.

Entrance Preview

I took O-JEE (E) examination & got 3500 Rank. I opt out this college because it has a good academic track record with 2 gold medalist & also provides an excellent campus recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mainly the Computer Science, Mechanical & electrical streams of engineering is best from all other streams. All the faculties are excellent & well experienced. Most of the faculties of Electrical Engg. streams are from IIT phd holder & their way of teaching is damn good.

Internships Opportunities

No, it doesn't provide any internship as all of the companies coming are directly recruiting people like Infosys, Tech Mahindra.

Placement Experience

The placement is Excellent here & it stands among top 20 colleges in placements. It gives a six month of pre-placement training before attending any campus recruitment. A minimum of 50 company visits every year for recruitment from them are Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, L & T, IVRCL, Fujitsu, Huewai, Accenture etc.

Every year we have 2 major events takes place one is Tech fest & another is Annual cultural function. In Tech fest all people participates & presents their innovations. Cultural festival called as Xuberance is damn too fun & entertainment & its a 4 day function & last night is a Star night in which renowned Star singers performs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is affordable to all sort of students. its not very low & not very high. Hostel are well facilitated with wifi & homely food.The fee for hostel is only 18K per year. All the hostel rooms are 3 sharing with attached bathrooms & 24/7 security guard. Transportation are free for hostelers. For day scholr student transportation charge is 8K per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides a Scholarship of 25000 per year to all merit students & provides Post-Matric scholarships to SC & ST category students every year.

Campus Life

The Campus atmosphere is very good here. Its a Ragging free Campus. There is no discrimination inside the campus. All participates in Extra curricular activities like Plantation, Blood donation etc. Every year the college has an election for president for student union to solve the common student issues.

The college is a NBA accredited. Most of the Senior students are well placed in big companies like Microsoft, Google, Oracle etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
