- The infrastructure is good with 2 basketball courts 1 volleyball court 1 hall , labs , and so many pond in our department
- Various opportunities to participate in programs that are not only educational based but lifelong learning based.
- Time table is very good and many functions organised .
Dislikes
- Communalism as they don’t get along with each other and judge people based on their tribe.
- Boys will be boys so I don’t have an explanation for that.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this subject because I love the aquatic life and I am so glad and grateful to be getting the opportunity to be taking this course and I am sure that I will bring so many good changes as I grow and get a job in the future . This course has made me realise there is so much more to than just a fish and not only do I get to study about the fish and the aqua life but also do I get to study some additional subjects that help me come out of my comfort zone and make me see the world beautifully . I get to interact with a lot of people and become confident.
Internships Opportunities
As for now I do not know about the opportunity but I do know they provide those because our college is very mindful of these and they take us out on field trips to experience the reality of having a fishing farm and many other stuffs.
Fees and Financial Aid
We had to pay 25450 before when we got admission and now for each semester we have to pay in the given dates. We also have to pay extra for functions and there's no mid day meal so we have to use our own pocket money. Every year we'll have to pay almost 2 lakhs. We too have uniforms for the college. Scholarship opportunities are available but I can't seem to get one.
Campus Life
The college is actually good and there are many classes and clubs and so may programs and opportunities organized . The food stalls and photo booths and so many other extra games and all. It's reallly nice . There are many clubs that focus on the poor hospitalized and orphan children and poor people too so it's really nice.
Admission
The only college I ever applied to was this and I know that God himself has given me this blessing to a part of this college and place and to Lear so many new things in life . And I chose this college because I always wanted to go to Shillong I don't know why plus it's in the hilly side and the water is great . Plus my mom too graduated from this place . I wanna go out to more places in the future.
Faculty
The faculty is really good but you know bad people do exist everywhere. So, some teachers are too not communicable and some try to be on the students level. Some faculties are really good they go with the flow of this generation and make it seem easier to approach them when facing difficulties. Exams are bound to be every semester and sometimes we do have class test . Even presentations and attendance is compulsory.
