Likes
- I like the campus infrastructure the buildings are well designed and have a/c classrooms hence the class experience is also good.
- There are many modes of transportation within the campus like cycles and e rickshaws to travel in the campus ad the campus size is huge.
- The service provided is good the UMS an online platform created by LPU is so useful you get all you need in it like attendance timetable and everything
Dislikes
- The price of things inside the campus is much higher than the things you get outside from the price of stuff at the food stalls even if there are many stalls they charge surplus amount.
- Its a strict vegetarian campus hence you can’t have non vegetarian food inside the campus.
- The mess facility is good but the mess option id alacarte is bad even though they charge 50,000/- and promise variety there is none the university mess standard is best its cheap but has variety and good food.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the first year i feel they just do the basic revision of the previous topics learnt in 11th and 12 th. Have heard seniors telling the you learn much about the core topics in 2nd year, from third your onward they teach you about placement and inteviews and CA takes place often like 1-2 minimum of CAs are there and exam of CA is easy.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees including all at LPU for B.Tech in aerospace engineering is 1,40,000/- rupess per semester. But since i cleared the LPUNEST exam i have recieved category 1 scholarship of 50% reduction in the fees so the fees for me is 70,000/- per semester and for a year it is 1,40,000. There are different categories in LPUNEST and depending on that you can avail the scholarship all tye details regarding it is available in our college website the line is given below https://www.lpu.in/scholarship/scholarship-on-the-basis-of-lpunest.php And other than that there are many other ways to avail scholarship based on different exams, and previos marks etc.
Campus Life
Campus life is great in LPU there are lots of clubs and minimum 5 evebts takes place daily the campus is full of life and has variety of things to do evening there is the robo park where friends gather for some free time and enjoy and many fo the clubs here are run by a faulty people but with the help of students and has a seperate block for the clubs called Division of student welfare where so many clubs are present and filled with students doing various club activites and ha ther is a badminton court in the centre of it.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel life is good there are various rooms with different seater options and hostels are licated in many places around the campus close to the respective blocks of the school the food is good od standard but the overhyped alacarte is bad and has no variety.
Admission
I didnt get my JEE Adv results and i was hoping for a good college so i selected lovely professional university as it had good Naac and Nirf ranking and has desent placements so i was like i will join this college and prepare for gate for my higher studies.
Faculty
The faculty of the campus are good there are some teachers that prefer hindi to be spoken more and some are biased to students from the native state and have given more attention to them. Exams have 2 phase in a single semester Mid term exam(MTE) and end term exam(ETE) and between then We have CAs that are frequent and are easy the CAs are subjective based wile the ETE and MTE are objective MCQ based apart from this they are Programme Orientation classes where they tell more in depth about the course and the feild linked with it and soft skills which gives more importance to public speaking.
