The seniors are super friendly they are the best when it comes to taking stand for juniors

Accounts department,they just dont care about ur condition
Hostel rooms are gud but the matress provided are all smelly and dirty
Canteen could be better designed in summer its just not bearable heat in there

The curriculum is so old school types nowadays there are so many different and effective ways this could improve and practicality in course should be introduced more effectively.Every 1.2months there is an exam

There are various companies which do come to our campus but they aren't core branch based bcz of that the placement rate is low in our college and the companies that are for placement they take students for intern for 6 months then they promise for the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college fees for budge budge institute of technology is ?3,84,000 for 4 complete years and i m enrolled in computer science engineering (CSE) the college provides placement for students i was enrolled in year 2023 so this was my fees structure but for academic year 2024 the fees have went over 6lac for complete 4 years

Campus Life

The campus life is not fun at all the social life is a little better bcz i guess i m blessed with the best people in our clg ,the club involment is very frequent and there are so many events that to with shortest time available for preperation

Hostel Facilities

Every block consists of 3 types of bedding facilities like 2 bed ,3bed and 6 bed ,there are total 4 meals provided among which only breakfast is what i prefer lunch is disgusting and snacks are ok-ok and the dinners are something i could eat on some days

Hostel Fee: INR 63000 per year

Admission

I applied for techno india College here in Kolkata only but bcz there were no hostels and the fees structure was also higher than this one so i choose bbit over techno india and the admission process was easy as well

The faculty-to-student ratio is 30:1 ,and the best faculty that i came across is Rishab sir aka "terminator",he is so friendly and so chill that i feel like a friend around him.There are 4 types of exam known as ca1,ca2,ca3,ca4 and practical exams like pca1and pca2

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Hey..I am Md Zafar and currently I am an undergrad Student in BBIT college Btech CSE(2nd year)2022-26 batch. So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
