Likes
- The major lime light my college has got which i like about my college is its infrastructure.the buildings and its architecture is unique and people usually refer it to hogwarts from harry potter.the campus is big and has various facilities.
- The college has good professors with lot of opportunities in every field along with good integrated labs and classes and good maintainence i seen. The college has various lecture halls where almost 200 students can fit easiily and has airconditioning
- The college also provides opportunities in lot op sports having 4 basket ball courts,1 football turf ground surrounded by tracks,1 tennis court and a cricket ground.all the courts are surrounded by stadium lights.
Dislikes
- The only thing i didn't like about my college was the distance bw hostel and the college as the students gets exhausted during the day as he has to come back ti mess in lunch break and then go back to college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Cse is a course which i took just because the opportunity of placements happening under this course. The faculty is very friendly and students get full experience and knowledge about the subject as pwr their curriculum
Internships Opportunities
College provides lot of intership facilities with companies like microsoft and also train the students for the same.the student also get lot of certificates through these internships which are useful during placements
Placement Experience
Until now no college placements have happened as the engineering college of dsu took effect from 2023-2024 but surely there will be great placements in coming year.the college does provide intership from 1st year itself with hackathons and ideathons and allows us to get certificates ftom the 1st year itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee i paid at my college (dsu) under kashmiri migrant quota was 127574/year for academic year 2024-2025 in general category through kcet ecam. As per the fee structure,the total fee through dsat is 3lakh 30000/year (for cse branch).the fee may vary with the course.The fee through management is 3 lakh 80000/year.however for several clauses like army/ defense or airforce separate quotas are available and they can give kcet exam.note that fee under kcet is around 1 lakh 10 thousands for every college.Also SC's and ST's have a different fee structure in dsat and have to pay less than 1 lakh/year.
Campus Life
The college celebrates lot of events with lot of involvement by students as the college has people from various regions and different parts of india which unites them and they celebrate every festival with spirit and enthusiasm. The college also conducts various sport events for students like cricket football and basketball.The college has a huge library with variety of books .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facult is great and the hostel is very modernised.the hostel has 2 buildings and has facilities like vending machines,private theatre,gym,pool table,gaming room,quiet study zones,discussion rooms.all these are air conditioned.the hostel promotes no ragging and has friendly faculty and and attict security.the roo.s are hygenic and nice.the hostel also has a lake facing it. Overall hostel life is amazing.
Admission
I only applied in Mhcet and kcet and i got better college(dsu) through kcet considering every aspect and as far i know i made the right choice.the most preferred eligibilty exam by the students is kcet and dsat exams.
Faculty
The college has as far from my 1 year experience,one of the best faculties for various branches. particularly ec,cse and Aiml.the college doesnt fall under vtu and the exams are considered little difficult.
