Remarks

I mostly have. alot of positive remarks for my college but of course there is a bad side to my college in terms of sports quota as only the guys in the sports quota get to be in be in the college team

Course Curriculum Overview

The course cirriculum of our college is distinguished and unique. It is called “fully flexible credit based cirriculum” which gives us the freedom to choose which course would we like to study provided it fullfills the credit requirements

Internships Opportunities

Yes ofcourse my college provides intenship but the thing is that for a person to be qualified for that internship one must be academically sound and the person should be in 3rd year of further up.About the stipend i dont know much as i am 2nd year only

Well in the recent past our college got better at accreditation as we got an A++ accreditation so the palcement perspective of our college become a little better .The college also have a placement cell.

The college has a few cultural and technological fest which are divided into the two semisters. The two major events are AARUSH IN THE ODD SEMISTER and MILAN IN THE EVEN SEMISTER. These fest are of national level

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college is somewhat expensive as it can be broken down it to types: one is with a scholarship and the other without the first one is 2.5 lakhs and the other one is 3.5 lakhs. The fee structure of a normal hostel is 1.05 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship scheme that my college offers it is in fact a good one aa it is purely merit based and pays off quite well but the thing is that you must have a good rank in the entrance examination conducted by the university

Campus Life

Well thats my favourite part beacuse i am a dedicated sports lover and a hard core football fan. Our college organises a lof of tournaments and matchs in which we get to showcase our talent and skills

Hostel Facilities

The infrastructure of our hostel is reasonably good for the amout of rent we pay.The hostel has fairly good facilities and mess is also of fine quality but there is no air conditioning facilities in the rooms so thats that.One room is shared by 3 guys

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumini and the senior and really ver helpful and enthusiastic about the helping and guiding juniors in every aspect of college life ranging from academics to pesonal development these guys are always there when we need them

Exam Structure

We have three internal exams and one external exam .The three internal exams are of the name CT1,CT2 and CT3 that have the weightage of 10 , 15 and 15 marks respectively .The external exam is having a weightage of 50 marks

Admission

The college conducts an entrance exam called. SRMJEEE. It was through this exam that i qualified for the admission after this i got an e-mail for the college asking to be a part of the counselling program by which i got to choose my favourite stream which is computer science

Faculty

Well about the faculty my personal opinion is the its a mix which means that some of the faculty’s are worth it while some are not up to the mark.but we have this scheme in which we get to choose the faculty we want and that really comes in handy

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

1) I did apply to SSN but my cut off was very low to join, I did not apply to any other college . I chose this college beacuse it was one of industry best and it was easy for me to commute 2) I did get rejection from SSN beacuse my cut off was low and i didnt ace their college entrance test properly. 3) there is no extrance exam, i applied for SRM and then paid fees and got admission. Eligibility is above 60 percent in 12th Most preferred course was ALML and core and ECE. The admission experience was pretty bad. They asked too much management fees beacuse of my late admission. A balanced journey at SRM

I chose SRMIST over other college because of its strong placements oppurtunities, modern infrastructure and industry oriented curriculum for CSE. I had also applied to VIT and other colleges. While VIT is academically strong, i preferred SRM for its campus exposure , diverse stundent community and active technical clubs. Compared to VIT, SRM offered better placement support and a more competitive coding environment, whcih aligned with my career goals. Eligibility requrires around 50-60% in PCM in 12th grade. Based on rank, students are alloted brances and campuses through counseling. There is also a mangement quota option.
