What Students Say

Likes

People are good and decent while talking, they don't act rude and are usually not selfish.
The ratio of girls to boys is also almost equal according to me.
It also has a good placement cell where students get good packages.

Dislikes

Mithibai doesn't support outdoor sports as much as other colleges do.
Mithibai has a very small campus leading to congestion.
In the peak time, it takes people time waiting for lift due to overcrowding.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum prepares you for the corporate world wholly and also incurs discipline in students. The teaching methods are new and they make use of smart board and everything making it much easy to understand.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total yearly fees are 50000 including everything like library fees, admission fees, lab fees and all other types of fees. So 50000 for 3 years will make it 150000 for the completion of course. And extra 1000 for extra co curricular activities such as yoga.

Admission

No, i did not receive rejection from the other colleges i applied to as I preferred mithibai college as it is one of the best colleges in Mumbai and as soon as I got admission in mithibai, I rejected other colleges admission letter.

Faculty

The faculty of BFM is very good and the whole faculty is supportive and helps the students in every kind of problems not just academically. Also they are easily approach able and also listen to students probelm and give them a solution.

TCSC is tremendous!

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

Mithibai has great placement opportunity as there are big companies that comes for campus placement like KPMG, DELOITTE, JP MORGAN and EY. So it can give great start to students in corporate world. This is one of the reasons I chose mithibai over other colleges. Also there are so many clubs that I can be a part of to form connections, gather ideas and build leadership skills. I also applied to NMIMS, DU and I got admission there. Reason for not choosing was simple that the opportunities for me were more at Mithibai than any other college and it was a great decision overall. As I had done FYJC and SYJC from Mithibai college only so I had enrolled in the same college for Bachelor of Commerce course . I had thought for applying in other colleges but no college in Mumbai was providing good infrastructure and facilities at low fees that time.
