- The first thing i like in my college is they are giving freedome to students in the campus.
- Then their education system was very good and Infrastructure of our college was very good.
- Our college give equal importance to sports like the importance they are giving to studies.
Dislikes
- Hostel food was sometime not good qnd they are following same menue for 2 to 3 months
- Hostel maintenance was not good for the fees they were collecting from us
- Faculty members were strict in the lab sessions
Course Curriculum Overview
After completion of my schooling i choosed to study engineering especially marine engineering and aeronautical engineering . Then one of my neighbor suggested me to study civil engineering as it has more scope in the future then computer science engineering. Then also he said that choose a best college which has more placements . Then i applied engineering counciling and i got civil in Psg college of Technology. The guidance i got is the best.
Placement Experience
I am now studing second year , and i have not much idea about placements and companies. My seniors advised me to study have above 8 cgpa. Now i have 7.6 cgpa . On my upcoming semester i have to improve my cgpa and knowledge about companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Tution fees i am paying was 83000 per year. I am under the category of Backward class.In PSG college studends are under two categories aided and self supporting.Fees for aided is around 21000 and for self supporting is nearly 83000.I am getting state government scholarship of rs 32000 for my studies.
Campus Life
In our college , two or three events only conducted in a year . One is teck music and the other is intrams. Intrams is an cultural event which was conducted for 2 days . A event called intramurals is conducted for sports . In that individual sports and team sports and athletics also be conducted . And also a mini marathon is conducted for both girls and boys. Students were actively participate in it.
Hostel Facilities
On the day of admission , they have told us to pay a minimum fees then only they will reserve rooms. And if not possible the told to pay it on opening day itself. They have well cooperated and answered in a right way .
Admission
I have applied engineering councilling . Then the results of my school was released . After that on basis of my mark i have choosed to join top colleges in tamil nadu . On choice filling my first preference was psg college then i gave choise for cit college.But i have got the college which i was expected.
Faculty
The relationship between staffs and students were very good. The were very friendly. The exams were moderate and tutorials, Continuous assessments were conducted two months once and the test pattern was not much tough
