IIIT Kancheepuram- Best in terms of Academics!!!

The course is related only to whatever you would need in future.No extra things are taught.The frequency and pace of teaching is perfect.Teachers uses powerpoint presentation to teach in the class. No bad review about all those things.

Many companies like Zovio ,Adobe ,Ford ,Quinn provides internship to students.A minimum of 8.5 pointer is required to apply for the placement. PPO is also provided if company is satisfied by your work. One guy got monthly stipend of 1.25lakh per month by Microsoft during intern.

From the 5th semester,you can apply for placements.Overall placement is 81.13% and for CSE it is 92%. Almost 400+ placement offers were made and almost 48 companies visited the campus including Microsoft. 2 days back 4 students of ECE department have got 32LPA package from VISA company.I have to go for civil services.

My per semester fees is 130000 which ends up to 260000 per year including hostel. The major fest is SAMGATHA.For freshers sports tournament is there called NOVICE.Other sports tournament like Inter depatment and Inter IIIT fest is also there.All the festivals of different culture are celebrated with great excitement. The Library has a separate building of 4 floors.Its name is Knowledge Plaza.It contains a variety of books including the course as well as related to cmpetitive exams and GATE and novels and Literatures. More than 25 Clubs are there including 15 technical clubs,9 are non competitive and 6 are competitive.

Double sharing rooms are provided for first and second year. From third year,single room would be given.Mess facility is handed to private caterers.Mess Affairs just look at the quality of the food provided. During the admission,hostel process is done.Its mandatory for everyone to join the hostel.Fees is affordable...only 60K for complete 1 year INCLUDING mess.

I chose this college over other colleges because it has an NIRF ranking of range 100 to 150. Secondly it is a government college.Its placement is far better than other colleges I was getting. I was getting a secured seat in CSE in IIIT Sricity but ECE of IIITDMK is far better than CSE of IIIT Sricity. The admission process is through Jossa Couselling after clearing JEE Mains.For open category,98 percentile is the cutoff for ECE.

The student to teacher ratio is 20:1. The relationship between student and teacher is quite friendly and helpful.All your doubts would be taken in care.A very nice interaction between teachers and students.You can ask for a free slot for personal doubt solving related to class assignments and homeworks. I liked Debolina Mishra Madam the most.She is our Electromagnetics Professor.Her teaching style is very nice. No professor is there whom I don't like. Each semester two exams are the including Mid sem and End sem.If you listen carefully in the class,you can easily get more than 8.5 CGPA.I think 1-2 students in each batch got a back each semester.Course curriculum followed here is of IIT Madras...so up to the mark.
