All the college has both sides. A positive and a negative. Some of the positive remarks of the college are No ragging, support from faculties and seniors, good infrastructure, good lab facilities, and placement chances. Some of the negative remarks include No proper college timing, Medium rating for course curriculum, Expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty well and it changes slightly every couple of years according to professor's reviews on course and real time scenario of the oil and gas industry. In other branches of engineering, the course curriculum change is not that much as it is in the Petroleum engineering course.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, my college provides us with an internship which is compulsory at the end of 3rd year. We did not get a stipend for the internship. It's just for the knowledge gain and about actual realization about industrial scenarios.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are very good at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. The training and placement cell works very hard to call the companies at the campus. For upstream Petroleum engineering, the placement depends on the dollar price as well. The more the price of the dollar, the chances of placement will be high.
College Events
There are many clubs in our college which are organizing various events every month. There is a technical fest in our college plus a cultural fest which is organized every year. There are essay competition, arts, and craft competitions, sports events, and various other events take place regularly in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is the costliest college in the state. The tuition fees are quite expensive. Plus hostel fees are also quite high. Per year cost including all the things (tuition fees, accommodation in the pdpu hostel, and mess fees) will be more than 3 lakh INR for sure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Top 3 scorer student of the class or branch gets the merit cum mark scholarship which is offered by the college. Here you will be exempted from paying the tuition fees. You need to pay only hostel fees, mess fees and library fees plus other charges if any.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are quite high in college. We have an NCC club at the college. Sports and cultural club in the college. sports committee organizes Petrocup every year which has various sports events and many colleges take part in those events.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is very nice and clean. The housekeeping service is regular. But the amount they charge for this is also quite high. The A.C rooms in the pdpu hostel are quite expensive. But you get the facility in return. You can also play table tennis and badminton in the hostel. So overall I would rate 4 stars out of 5 for the pdpu hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are always ready to help us. Seniors are also very good and helpful. There is no ragging, I must say there is 0% ragging in the college and hostel which is one of the best parts to be a student of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University
Exam Structure
Per semester, we have 2 exams. 1 mid semester and another end semester. Both these scores combine with the internal marks given by the professors and final semester score is obtained which are converted into SPI out of 10.
Admission
I got admission in this college from my state board merit marks. My rank of the state board was within the top 1000 in the 12th standard and it helped me get the admission in this college. Plus you can also take admission through JEE merit if you got enough score on the board.
Faculty
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University has got one of the best teams of professors comparison to other colleges in the state. Professors teach us basic and fundamentals and then moves to the main topic. But as in most of the colleges in our country, this one also has some professors who are not at par in teaching. They might have good knowledge but some of them lack teaching skills.
