Course Curriculum Overview

The course is taught in depth. They start with the basics and move on towards the in depth topics. Its taught with exampkes and case studies. They also provide with internships and courses that will up your resume

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 1,30,000. This was after availing girl child scholarship from government. Their was an additional 1.7k as fees for the value added course. There are scholarships based on merit , grades achieved.

Campus Life

There are many different clubs. University level clubs and department level clubs. U also have many sports opportunities. There are fests throughout the year. There are clubs of every genre and interests

Admission

There was an admission test followed by an written and interview round. If you get selected you move on to the admission process. The interviews and test were moderately hard. I chose this college for its faculty and infrastructure

There are 4 major papers and 2 minor papers. There are 3 internals and end semester exam. The exams are moderately difficult. The faculties are amazing they teach very well. There are good lab facilities as well

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.

a pretty good place for exploring and leaning

i applied for various colleges through kcet such as jss,dayanand sagar. i got a seat in pes through pessat but the course fee was 4.5L which was expensive so i chose not to join.The admission process for christ is a bit different as there are two levels to it. one is a mcq type test and the other one is an interview which you have to attend where they test you for various stuff such as speaking and check your knowledge....Read More

My B.Arch journey at Christ so far

I just joined because my friend joined and my parents thought I could get exposure. So my overall admission experience was fine The eligibility was to pass in physics, chemistry and maths in 12th grade, to write nata and to have written JEE paper-2. I applied through the website and then was told to choose a date for the interview. I went for the interview in the next 2 weeks and the interview contained questions anyone could answer like why architecture how did u come to know about the college and stuff. I wasn't asked any questions related to architecture but the previous batch of students attending the interview were asked so. The results were out within 4 days and I got in. I chose this college as it provide the Btech in computer science with artificial intelligence and machine learning.The admission process is simple .
