Dislikes

I disliked about there exam and revaluation very poor
Faculty teaching was not so good and they give us lot of work
Sports faculties are very bad no proper grounds nor proper gyms

Curriculum provides us freedom to select class to take in evening or morning and choose labs timmings and faculty's as per our wish and course provided by our college is date to date adopted with present time like AIML AWS courses etc

As of now placements are less they introduce new training sections on placements and introduce coding exams for us to improve our skills and help us to crack interviews 0verall 60 odd company visited over 600 students placed out of 2000 up to now.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes fee structure depends on your viteee exam ranks Here your fee structure divided into 5 categories Starting Category 1 at 2 lack and category 5 at 5 lack Category 2 as fee structure 3 lach per year and cat 3 as 4 lach per year and 4th Category as fees of 4.5 lack

Campus Life

Sports and extracurricular activites are very less as there are very less grounds reason for these is campus expansion etc .There are so many club almost 150 club there and they conduct activites regularly and library mangement is also good in year 2 events happens technovit and vibrance

Hostel Facilities

Registration process is based on ranking system based on current cgpa . Meal quality very good but hostel fee is very high it is almost same as my college fee as per my friends PG are good enough and hostel also provide landary service .

Admission

Mainly i am an general category student no reservation i cant make to iits or nits computer science course as i choose vit so that i can get computer science as i didnt have interest in other courses so i decided to join vit chennai .

Faculty

Here exams divided into cat 1 cat 2 and fat Cat1 and 2 is for 15% each And fat (final exam ) is 40 % Remaining 30 % is digital assignment or projects based There also be additional learning marks like they award more marks if we participated in events like hackathon etc. Faculty students ratio is very less about 80 % students pass To write exam we need 75 % attendance each subject Course curriculum is good Hod is very strick no debar exemption etc are given easily.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
