Entrance Exam

FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System). This allows the student to choose his/her own subjects and timings as per their own choice. The subjects and faculty list along with their timings will be revealed earlier so that one can prepare beforehand.

No, it is a private college and hence no scholarship. The only scholarship is available if you are quite good in VITEEE. Also if your annual income is low then also you get some scholarships but there are many conditions to it.

Placements at VIT is really very good and authentic. Vit actually prepares you for this from the very first semester by adding a compulsory subject soft skills to build up your personality and prepare for interviews.

At VIT there is always something going on throughout the year but two main events are gravitas and Riviera. Gravitas being a technical event while Riviera is a fun fest or say annual fest where many celebrities show up.

The fee is a bit high if you don't score well in VITEEE. But if you manage to score well and get a course by 1st category it will be near to normal. The hostel fees depend on the type of room and number of beds you select.

There is an Indian bank office just at the 2nd gate entrance which has collaboration with VIT a provides offers on loan to VIT students. The scholarship is not provided by VIT except for the top rank holders.

Vit has a vast pool of extracurricular activities. Just name it and you have it. It emphasizes the all-round development of the student. With 100+ clubs it has ample choice for students to join their preference.

The infrastructure of the campus is jaw-dropping. With great buildings on the campus, the hostel buildings are also really good. There are as many as 17 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel and they are really well built.

Seniors at VIT are really very helpful. It just never feels like one is having a conversation with a senior. It just seems we are with our batchmates. Even there are alumni who meet every year. Overall at vit, no one feels the difference between seniors and juniors.

Each semester is broken into CAT 1 AND CAT 2 AND FAT. Cat- continuous assessment test. Fat- final assessment test. These along with two assignments and one quiz make up for one subject in a semester.

VITEEE.This is the college's own entrance exam. Counseling will be according to ranks. The counseling is done on various days based on your rank. It has 4 campuses namely Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, Amravati. To get a seat on the Vellore campus you need to have a good rank.

The faculty is quite good and helpful. They are always ready to help students. On the vit student login, one can access the free timings of faculties and can meet them to clear queries. Proctor is assigned to each student for his assistance through the college.
