Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum seems quite outdated and focuses more on rote learning rather than practical learning. Cuririculum should be more practical with examples taken from recent events such that the students are able to relate with the topic taught. Exams are held Twice in a Year, Semester System is Followed

Several High Profile Events and Speaker Sessions Take Place apart from this, recently Bhuvan Bam paid a visit to the College for Promotion of his New Series and a Session was held by Bhavya Sood for guide on Case Battles. Overall the Campus Life is good

Admission

I did not apply for any other colleges, SRCC has the Best Repute among all the Commerce Colleges of India and also has the highest placements for the Courses it offers. Admissions into SRCC are taken through CUET and the cutoff for this year (2024) was 782 tie-breaking was applied so not all students with 782 got in, Board Marks were taken into consideration for decision of tie-breaking

SRCC has the best faculty one could ask for, all the professors encourage students to put forward their queries both in the classroom and outside as well for doubt solving. In the First Year there are 7 Exams, 3 for Discipline Specific Courses, One for SEC, One GE, One VAC and EVS or Hindi (Randomly assigned)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
