Easy to make friends through Amitys own online platform
Easy assignments to complete and topics divided into modules

Dislikes

Few faculties are really horrible at explaining and they can’t speak fluent english
The students most of the time are not aware about things announced in the college forum
There is a lot of confusion on dates of examination, assignment submittion and also for classes

Yes the curriculum and syllabus itself well divided for a better understanding and slow learning. It teaches step by step about the topic which makes it easy to learn. Again if they improved the way to interact with the students it would be a lot better

As I have already mentioned students with bca cloud and security will get a guaranteed internship with Tata tcsion program that's a great thing I am not really sure about the students of other specialisation

About placement and jobs..for me as I have taken my specialisation in cloud and security I get guaranteed internship with tcsion to work with Tata and if I perform good there is a high I could be recruited there itself so it helps..but overall if you see in a perspective of a bca general batch student he wouldn't be getting these benefits and rely on collage placement

So I have taken bca and my specialisation is in cloud and security so my college as partnership with tcsion a Tata company program for the student who opted for this specialisation so the per sem fees is 37500 so in total for the 3 year degree it is 207000

Campus Life

As I studying online there is no college campus for me but I have the campus in noida is really good and it's fun..also the college host events for students who study online at their noida campus which is really great

Admission

I had seen few advertisements about the college and also heard about it with few campus going students so I thought of choosing it..now the reason for why I choose online is because I wanted to do more skill based courses and not just rely on my degree so that once I learn skills and do jobs at low salary for experience and go through daily expense without being dependent my parents and for the admission process it was pretty simple as you have to apply for admission through their online website and they will give you a call and you do your admission through it

Faculty

Few teachers are good with their explaintion and few horrible at it. As we learn through both recording videos study material and live classes we have a lot of confusion to keep up with the course. The college could have done better with guiding the students to better understand how the teaching is done

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

The other college that I saw was CU. The faculty there wasn't good as Amity University. There were many flaws like unattentive staff, late replies from the faculty while taking admission.
