Likes

One of the things that I liked is that the books got delivered at home and it was very convenient
Another thing I liked was that the councelor‘s are easy to reach out
Since it is online college, I don’t know much about the kind of students that are there but but it’s convenient

Dislikes

It is not very active or helpful because the counsellors don’t really seem to care a lot about your problems
The portal is sometimes very glitchy so it is hard to access and almost impossible to access through phone and and I have a good phone so the phone is not an issue. It’s the bottle only.
The name of amity is not very known for a good reputation so I get laughed at because of that.

Course Curriculum Overview

I strongly believe that the portals could be worked on and to become more convenient to use also that the counsellors would be more available since it's online class and I have no one to reach out to other my councelor and I would also like amity University to raise awareness that they are not bad because the repetition out there is actually very bad.

Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Each Semesters fees is around 29k and there are 6 semesters the total fee is around 1.8lakhs. i am paying in instalments which also got me student discount and no cost emi. it doesn't sound expensive to me as the books are included too and got delivered at home.

Campus Life

I do not have a campus life since my college is online but I really wish I had a campus life because people tell that it is very interesting and I am sad that I will be missing out on fun stuff and my college days

Admission

I chose either university online or other online classes because because they are available globally and I might have to go to another country next year and also I wanted online instead of off-line because I also have a job to look after

Faculty

so in my college I don't know the faculty match because it is online and I don't really study a lot from online classes but there are weekly live sessions through the portal and you get email notifications as reminders and the exam thing is that after like at the end of every semester there will be exams and during the whole semester you will keep getting assignments and you have to complete them before the exam time also I don't think so. The exams would be difficult since they will be held online.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placements.Students can become eligible for placements from 3rd year . More than 20 companies visit for campus placements which give multiple offers. Highest package offered -12lpa and average package is around 5lpa.I am planning to pursue MCA after my BCA degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

The other college that I saw was CU. The faculty there wasn't good as Amity University. There were many flaws like unattentive staff, late replies from the faculty while taking admission.
