About my college

college is somewhat is good for those who are economically weak. if you want to gain knowledge and practical experience you can opt for this. but you have to work hard after coming here both physically and mentally.

college have well-maintained labs from many years & it provides hands-on training on various machines as part of course. But some of the machines are not working so they need to be replaced. college provide funds for your project, research if teachers found your work good,

internship provide by companies which are in college's contact provide learning opportunities to student & internship here is called as co-op training in which a mentor is provided to fetch details of work progress students are doing in the assigned companies. Most of the companies provide internship through college's contact provide stipend or accommodation. Placement of DEI is not much good but if you work hard you can get into top companies. Overall it is about 60 % including some IT companies.

there are many co-curricular activities & functions organized in this institute. some of them are OPEN DAY (30-31 Jan) SAMPRAVAH QUIZ DRAMA SPORT COMPETITIONS,etc some of the students are in my class are passionate towards drama, football, hockey, etc so they get opportunities to show their skills. also, there are participants from our college for national & international projects.

Fees are almost affordable for all the courses. if we merge the fees of all 8 sem of engineering it is about 50K. mostly who are economically weak get the scholarship from govt. Other expenses are also not much because college provide books from the library at 10 rs/book from book bank at the start of the semester and you can also issue the book from library card if you need more.

I have not opted for any loan or scholarship because I am not eligible according to guidelines written in scholarship form. the scholarship will be given to you if your family's salary limit satisfies the criteria in income certificate.

campus life is not that much enjoying as there are strict rules and everyone have to follow that. Discipline is one of the priorities of the institution. In engineering overall Boys to girls ratio is 7:3. Sports competitions organized every year. also, there are debate competitions.

alumni network of the institution is very large and globally there are many alumni of the institution at the reputed post in various companies. even the company where I have done my co-op training the alumni of our institution was CEO of the company.

There are applications invited every year available on the DEI website in the month of May to June. you may not be going to get any advertisement for this college only you can know this from the local newspaper. the marks of JEE mains + 12th + interview sum up together to generate merit list for selected students. If you are qualified JEE main & have good score in 12th PCM u may likely to get good engineering branch.

most of the good teachers are from IITs & well experienced although they busy in multitasking they solve your problems if you go to them. faculty of the college is ready to provide the best of their knowledge but sometimes its schedule of college that students get tired. classes are regular but duty leave is provided for students who are in any competition.
