Remarks

I would like to mention that the canteen is really great and the best I've seen recently. The campus may be small but is nice. The staff is nice and helpful. seniors always give the best advice and connectivity to college is good.

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is okay, I guess. There are many subjects, as prescribed by the Indraprastha University, Delhi. There are a few guest lectures. The technical societies of the college are good and help students in learning new skills.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internships. But I am still in the first year so I can't tell much about the same. I don't need an internship right now but from what I have heard the internships are not very great.

Placement Experience

4

The placements of the college are pretty good as compared to other tier 2 colleges. We have some bigwigs like Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft who come to recruit. There is 85% placement. TCS is mass recruiter.

College Events

4

There are multiple events celebrated within the college. There are technical fests which are great for geeks. The annual cultural fest is worth looking forward to with big stars coming for concerts and live shows.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is almost feasible. The annual fee is about RS. 1,00,000 which is at par with most of the engineering courses here. The fee includes all the lab, library, tuition fees. all classrooms are air conditioned.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know of many scholarships provided by the college but only one. It is for the students whose parents have an annual income of 5 lacs per annum. Those students are provided with fee waivers.

Campus Life

4

The labs are good. All are air conditioned. Some of the equipment doesn't work sometimes. There are dedicated rooms for music and sports where all equipment is kept and students can play in the ground.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities available within the campus are only for girls and not for boys. I have heard that they are good. For the boys, there are numerous PGs around the campus where all kinds of rooms are available.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are really helpful and are willing to help in any way they can. I haven't met many alumni so I can't comment on the alumni network. The seniors know what problems we face and help in giving the best solution.

Exam Structure

There are two kinds of exams - internal and external. Internals are the mid sem exams evaluated within the college and carry 25% weightage. Externals carry the rest of the weightage and are evaluated by the University.

Admission

I had given the IPU Common Engineering Test. I secured the 3k rank. After multiple online counseling rounds, I secured a seat at MAIT, Delhi but I wanted a better college, therefore I went for the spot round and I grabbed one of the few seats left.

Faculty

3.5

They are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them would not turn you back if you want any help on any topic. Some of them use presentations for some topics. All the teachers are strict about attendance.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
