Overall Review of Ramanujan College, University of Delhi

I has a choice between bcom and BMS . I chose BMS as I found it a professional course and it's diversification like In BMS you will study management and at the same time programming languages like python, and some industry oriented subjects. The curriculum gives you enough time other than classes to rest or be free. Continuous test are taken monthly, totally depends on the teacher but most of the time when one unit is finished then in some days tests are scheduled. The thing I don't like in the curriculum is the time table in some courses like ours, we have to come in the morning to college at 9 everyday, which makes a students tired till the end of the day.

Ramanuna College provide a large variety of internship with lots of opportunities. The placement cell almost give internship opportunities daily with several roles like content writing, graphic designer, business development specialist etc. some companies that intern the students of Ramanujan College are Chegg, appolo 24/7, internshala, Ferns and petals and many more. The students of Ramanujan College has been benefitted from these opportunities as they gain monetary rewards and self development.

After the 3rd year or in their 3rd year, students can apply for Campus placement through our placement cell. Or it is being observed that some student who are in their 3rd year got placement offers in their mails. The highest placement of our college is 22 lpa and average package is around 5-6 lpa. Some renowned company that visited the college are KPMG, chayos, unstop and many more. Around 85% of students get placed every year. But many students have a plan to do mba like me as I want to develop my skills and want to get a exposure of mba and want to learn more

I'm in my 2nd year write now, in my first year I paid 33,800 annual fees, but it seems that there is a significant increase in the fees as in my 2nd year we have to pay, 34,600, but you can avail some scholarship also, if you score in your 1st year and your financial condition is also considered and all the documents are needed like income certificate, electricity bill etc. You can reduce your fees by 5000-7000 from this scholarship. The fees for other courses in Ramanujan College is compatively low, and BMS course has the highest fees in the college.

The Ramanujan College is literally amazing above my expectations and I am impressed by several factors like the Library,for those who want to spend their time reading or preparing for an exam or just want to do your hobbies and rest, Library is the best place and we have a large variety of books and you can issue upto 4 books from it( we just don't have self help books very rare). The college organise several fest every year like literature fest, dandiya nights, concert fest and we have a sport facility which include a cricket ground , volleyball ground, cricket nets, and many small outdoor games. We have a large variety of societies like the cells which help in your professional development, if you join them and some will help to sort out your queries,we have NSS,eco club and many societies, which works for social welfare. These society helps to develop a person rather than just classroom study

In order to do any undergraduate course, giving CUET is a must and In 2023 I also did the same and appeared for the exam.The CUET exam is based on your course selection like if you are applying for BMS then maths is compulsory , and test is of 650 marks and if you are applying for bcom hons like course then you have an exam of 800 marks . My dream college was Shaheed Sukhdev college of business studies and unfortunately I didn't get into it bcz my marks was not enough( 400 marks) and cutoff was around 590 for general. Then if you get a college then you just have to confirm the college pay the fees and start your journey in the college. Or you can freeze the alloted college and wait for next best college in your portal if in Spot round( last round) you get any better college

The faculty of our colleges is very supportive and helpful. They are mostly available to solve your doubts. Every department has minimum 9-10 faculties and a batch of 60 students. The faculty I liked the most are Akhil Raj sir, Rachita Agarwal Ma'am, they literally be available at any time and make tough topics easy to understand, while there are some teachers whom I don't like, Mr. Aastha jain, Chandan sir, they have a problem that are not able to make everyone understand the concept in a easy way, In every sem you just have to appear for 1 exam for 7 subjects in which 3 are core and compulsory and are of higher marks and the other 4 are optional subjects and carry less amt. Of marks. In exam , you will find most of the practical exam difficult and advanced level. In order to score well z you should have a good command on the topics. In a class every year some students tend to fail and get back in the subjects and the next sem they again have to appear for the exam as a retest
