Course Curriculum Overview

4

i am from ba prog , the course is good the faculty is good , so i have to make my psychology major (which they dont provide) but if we give the application they will specially make it major for you and i think thats very nice of them i consider the curriculum good cause the teachers do not only stick to the bookish and also give u practicals and assignments for real time knowledge the faculty can be little more active in teaching but overall its good the 1st sem exams are happening arround 10 dec which is quite good as freshers need atleast 2 3 months to adapt to the studying method and colleges

Internships Opportunities

4

companies and roles offered : datatobiz - digital marketing ( 10000/ month) arise - subject matter intern (not specified) from AARAMBH 2.0 ( internship fair at ramanujan college ) the highest stipend offered is 15000 per month for intern profiles

Placement Experience

4

according to all the reviews i have read the placement ranges from 4-5 lcs per anumm to 24 lcs per anumm which is quite decent i think the students can become eligible for placements in 2nd year of college some companies that have visited the college : delloitte KPMG HDFC bank bajaj finance amazon genpact tata consulting services in 2024 around 300+ people were reported as placed highest packedge in 2024 - 12lkh per aummn

for ug programme like ba hons , bsc hons , bcom , bvoc bms etc the total tuition fees ranges approx 49,000 for 3 years annual fees of most of the courses generally varry from 16000 - 18000 per anummne SC/ST students benefit from substantial waiver and various scholarship based on caste visit the official site of ramanujan for detailed fee structure my course ( bs programme ) was 18,400 for 1 year hostel is not provided by college ramanujan also provide benefits under PWBD QUOTA ramanujan gives variety of scholarships - stipend scholarship for outstanding students (1500 / month) scholarships to female students scoring highest marks in certain year there is no official details that ramanujan provide less fee structure to SC / ST there is a little increase over the years in the fee structure

Campus Life

5

the commerce department has a society called RAMCOMM which organizes comdezvous - their annual commerce festival the philosophy department has a society yatharta which organizes fest rangarang ramanujan college library is quite equipped approx 38000 books in the collection access to esources via library system the library is fully automated uses technology like KOHA there are seperate reading rooms and rooms for books and faculty the college has ict enabled smart classrooms, whiteboards , projectors etc. the department of physical education offers wide range of sports . they organize fitness camps etc.

Admission

okay so in the prefrence list i filled many colleges providing mg course but i really like this college location and infra also i talked to my relative who is a professor at Delhi University and she said ramanujan college is too good , the building , the infra even the principle iss good snd knows how to ensure our safetu overall its a above average college . according to the reviews the placement goes upto 5 lakhs per anumm minimum and 24 lakhs maximum which is impressive for a new college like ramanujan

Faculty

4

the faculty is really nice , no one is rude and unapproachable and everyone is ready to help just one problem is that they take too many holidays . i dont know about other courses ( maybe they are better ofc) but in ky course ( ba prog) they take too much holidays but i think thats the case in every govt college. secondly , as a middle class person the fees is quite reasonable and affordable specially if we are seeing the private colleges . acc to infra and faculty the fees is too affordable and also with PERKS FOR PWBD AND MAYBE SC/ST

Night Life

3

offers certain facilities though certain limitations. the college lib remains functioning from monday to friday 9 am to 5 30 pm ramanujan DOES NOT provide college hostel accomodation and therefore students generally opt for PG option in kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
