Course Curriculum Overview
I liked the curriculum, it is application based mostly and very helpful for real world applications. Areas of improvement would be I would say the First year common subjects which i doubt i will use ever in my life, but except that it's good. Exams are not that hard, also if it's relative grading anyway so I guess your marks won't be affected much as the whole class average would be low.
Placement Experience
I'm still a second year student, not very sure about all the companies but I've heard Google, Microsoft, Dell and such top companies have visited for recruitments. The main top companies normally have very limited seats but the middle companies like TCS and NVIDIA take in a good amount of students. The placements percentage is almost 100% here which is one good thing. I plan to write GATE.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 5L. Registration fees is 10K. Other branches have lesser fees, but it also depends on the category you get into, first category has 2L except hostel fees and it increases 1L for every category moving forward.
Campus Life
The campus life is good here, there's a lots of clubs technical and non technical. There are 2 events every year, a technical fest called Technovit and a cultural fest with a concert called Vibrance, both of them go on for 3 to 4 days and it's the best time of the semester, Vibrance is in February and Technovit is in October or September. The library here is very good and has all the resources you would ever need. There's a lot of options for sports and lots of student social groups. The campus is always very lively and it's easy to make friends.
Hostel Facilities
In the room you have a table, bed and a cupboard for you and you may have separate fans or a common fan depending on the room you opt. There is AC and Non AC options for rooms in 6bed,4bed, 3bed and 2bed, there are 3 washroom areas in each floor and 15th floors in total. The mess food is good most of the times. Registration is easy and you can upgrade your room whenever you want by paying the extra fees.
Admission
The placements are better here especially for the top students and it has very good international relations making it easier for kids to study abroad. No I didn't get a rejection from other colleges, I thought this would be the best among the choices I had. For admission we have to write an exam conducted by the college every year and depending on it's results there will be rounds of counseling which determines the course and cost for the course. Over-all admission process was smooth.
Faculty
In every class there is 70 students, but few classes also have 120 kids which isn't that good but as most of the classes have on avg 70 kids it's fine. Faculties you will know when you come to campus, most of them are good. Exams are fine, there is relative grading for most of the subjects and it also depends on the faculty
