I liked the food for odisha food it is good. I mean except for some food items. Staff is preety helpful
The gym is also good and all the clubs too
Education in general is good. Good lectures and Notes. If you pay full attention in the class you will understand preety much everything

Dislikes

I didnt like how some staff will stereotype you

Digital teaching can be used to teach like smartclasses and projecters. This environment is there but i guess no one usses it. I feel like some cse labs are needed to be updated and some topics too...

The internship was provided by the college it was all about initial experience in first year so no companies but it was funded by intel as advertised. It was all about knowledge of coding and how coding works at a company level

You obviously get a degree and everyone knows after you get a degree no one sees it its all about the skills you have and the talent you got so.. but the college placements have been rough from last 2 3 years due to resession.

Fees and Financial Aid

We did pay 123000 /yr and the interniship fees was like 5000 but the fees are being increased and probably the fees for the internship will also be increased. The mess bills are also increasing every 3 to 4 months

Campus Life

Extracirricular activites does happen like cricket and basketball there is major event that happens every year regarding sports and all and the club involvement in eveything is pretty good and the infrastructure is so so..

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is preety good the facilities are good everything is available and the mess menu is good too in aspect of hostel food. The prices for the rooms has been increased though but it is reasonable

Admission

The admission proccess of this college is preety simple one can do it in like 5 to 10 mins if its not crowded. Previously my college used to accept admission based of jee and ojee but now it has launched a new exam for admission nistee.

For every 50 student there is 5 to 6 teachers which is good and the faculty members are really good in studies. 2 exams will be conducted mid and end sem and quiz tests. The assignments are lengthy though

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
