Remarks

I had a very wonderful experience at this college...I feel more placements and a more focussed approach on robotics is needed

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course and curriculum was fairly good...we were given materials which helped us to develop our skills towards learning and also the structure was a fair process with no partiality...we were motivated to work towards achieving the goals that we set out to achieve in life

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements were a bit on the lesser side ...I wish they would have some more placement opportunities available

College Events

5

We had events like aakarshan which was the yearly college festival...there were different nights organized like prom night, retro night and hip hop night....besides this the aakarshan committee also had various programs during the year which they organized

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the first year was around 3000....we didn't get any other expenses but they did have a gym facility and library available in the college which can be used free of cost so that was beneficial to us as students of the college ...the procedure for fees was addressed on the first day of the admission itself

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't opt for any education loan as the fees were not too high at our college ...they also offered most courses at the college itself

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio in the college would be 50-50. We had various sporting events like football, basketball tc...we also had debate competitions and have an in-house gym and library....the overall atmosphere was very good in the college..we can have some more focus of robotics though

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students and the alumni here was very helpful...always was there for you when needed and never felt left out

Admission

It was a merit list selection process ....there were merit lists put up for which we had to get selected.it was a smooth admission process in this college.i would say that this is one of the better admission processes which we had here...the explanation of the fees was done well too

Faculty

5

The faculty was one of the cornerstones of our life in college....they were always there to help when we needed it so hats off to them for doing such a wonderful job...help was always available to us students when needed as our faculty used to be our second family

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
