Remarks
I have heard many good things about this college, some of the main ones being good quality education and campus life. There are many fests and extra curriculars organised every year in the campus, the admission procedure of this college includes submitting marksheets and all other relevant documents and then comes payment of fees. The overall admission experience is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite well-designed and structured, thus covering all key concepts and subjects. Some of the main subjects in B.Com consist of Accountancy, Economics, Auditing, Commerce, and I believe that EVS as a subject in this course can be irrelevant, hence it can be removed. Overall, the teaching methods of the faculties is good and the difficulty level of exams is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees at this college for getting a B.Com degree is Rs.11000 per year. However, the fees for otjer specialized courses such as BAF, BMM can be on the higher side, anywhere around Rs.20000 to Rs.30000 per year.
Campus Life
Some of the best festivals organised in the college campus include Hooner and Symphony. There are many books, journals, newspapers available in the college library and students can opt for taking the books home on a subscription basis. There are thousands of books in the library belonging only to different genres. Also, there are many social groups, clubs in the college and the campus is huge enough for the sports to take place.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio at this college is 1:105. The teachers are well trained, educated and experienced enough to teach the concepts well and clear the doubts if any. There are total 6 semesters spread over a 3-year duration which means 2 semesters a year, held twice a year. The difficulty level of the exams in moderate and the course curriculum is pretty updated as per current demands.
