I applied to other top universities like IRMA, MICA, Christ etc. I couldn't get through the interiviews in tier 1.5 colleges. At the end I chose this college as this university takes itself seriously and is close to where I already have a home. Apart from Ahmedabad University, I had applied in PDPU college, Gandhinagar. There also I had got confirmed seat. Apart from this I also got admission in 16 other colleges from Surat. But i chose ahmedabad university then other universities because of it's culture, infrastructure, it is in city center and lastly because i wanted to do liberal studies that's why i chose this college over there.Liberal studies is where you study different subjects from different domains like law, data science, biology, ethics etc. Total 32 different subjects we need to study and then need to select our major. So according to the major I will get my degree. The eligibility criteria for this university is minimum 75% in 12th board with a good statement of purpose on a given topic.
