JUIT Solan , Detailed review [ EVERYTHING COVERED]

Course curriculum followed is same like iit kharagpur. First sem is there only c language is taught and then DSA in c . As tecnology evolving very rapidly I think c++ and Java should be taught in 1 year with web dev. Not relevant to industry standards, u have to acquire skills on ur own

Placements not good as compared to the fees they are charging , mostly people crack off campus here for good companies.MAANG don't come here Highest on campus gone here is 20 lpa this year and more than 10 lpa companies are only 8-9 .

Year wise fees I am paying is 300000 and it increases every year , total fees that I estimated would be 20 lakhs for 24-28 batch including hostel which is 160000 every year. No scholarships as such , there's a fees concession for army wards

Infrastructure is decent here , no proper football and cricket ground here. Campus Life is great u get some great views and extracurricular are very much here in this cllg almost every other week a event is happening. Social life is good. Clubs of every domain is here and active also Annual fest is la fiestus Tech fest doesn't happen In Library u can get every domain book Basic tech facilities in classrooms Sports like badminton, basketball, volleyball,tt u can play here Many active student run social groups are here

Hostel fees is little more as the facilities provided Room size decent but they are old Bed , mattress, study table , almirah and raque for some storage provided No attached washroom Mess food is one of the best in India Registration process was simple just went at the admission office and further they allotted Waknaghat

I came here bcz less crowd good scenic beauty and placements good ( not good as I saw it online though ) I applied in other t3 cllgs and got admission in every of them . Very big crowd in almost every t3 cllg Admission process is simple just fill a form online and they will contact you for further details Minimum 70 in boards required for admission in cse

As I said some faculties are great ,some are avg Exams here are 3 and 2 are practicals T1 is of 15 marks T2 is of 25 marks T3 is of 35 marks Rest is teacher assessment of 25 marks Courses in first sem we have Eng Physics Maths Physics lab C Civil We have around 21 hr of classes in a week in sem 1 so there is very less workload and more free time U can get pretty much good grades here as low competition and moderate difficulty level exams Just by studying one day before. Faculty to student ratio is 30:1 Some faculties are approachable and some are not . I like here RK BAJAJ sir of maths , brilliant teacher who just not only teaches maths but also gives life knowledge through amazing stories. Physics faculty Berman sir I don't like , almost everyone in the class doesn't understand anything from him Regarding the course curriculum it is same like curriculum which iit kharagpur follows . Although heard from the senior not relevant in some domains
