Remarks

Only One bad thing I am able to spot out during my college life is that, the food quality of our canteen is not so good.

I took WBJEE and Ranked 7455.I choose this college because my elder brother passed out form this college and he shared his experience with me, and that's why i choose this college.

The Course curriculum is much easier than I expected.

Internships Opportunities

The Internship experience was amazing. College offered all the help that we need in that time.I was at BSNL and they offered me 3000/month as a technical assistant during the internship.

Placement Experience

Placement is also satisfying. 10 companies are recruiting from our college campus. and best thing is that 90% students are placed after end of the placement season.

College Events

Each & Every festival like Swaraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja etc. celebrated in our college. and Annual Cultural Fest organized every year by the students of our college.

Feasible compare to other college's fee structure. And the best thing is our college always very helpful to those students who got their admission through TWF scheme.

Exams are based on Semester structure. Every year there are two semester, total 8 semester (4 years). Lab assistants are very friendly , they always very helpful, so as our teachers.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
