Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good . First year subjects are common and tougher since it covers all branches . From second year onwards it eill be core . For cse people the curriculum is much more simple and relaxed
Internships Opportunities
Internship is really food . To get into an internship there will be an online test followed by an interview. Companies coming for internship are google , badclays , microsoft , accenture etc with around 1,00,000 stipend. The roles are software engineer , data analyst etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are really good this time . Most companies including google apple wellsfargo saplabs and the average package is 15 lpa and for cse people its around 24 lpa . Placement is 100 percent and highest package offered was 83 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid around 2,00,000 and since i am dasa student that is studied from outside i get spdc scholarship of around 70 percent of the fees. Attendance is compulsory and u need atleast 85 percent of attendance
Campus Life
There are tech fest that is innovision which is one of the largest fest in odisha and its around for three days then there multi ethnic fest that is called cosmo which is also 3 days . The fests are really fun and there are lot of active clubs like opencode , cyborg , synergy etc
Hostel Facilities
Coming from our hometown to hostel could be hard because the facilities wont be that good as ur household and you have to adjust accordingly. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with good mess food and clean toilets . The cleaners will come to clean the room every week
Admission
This college is one of the top nits and also the placement is good in this college . Its1,200 acres and has excellent sports facilities. I got in through special round of dasa and since i am from kerala its really hard to reach rourkela .
Faculty
Faculty ratio is around 1:15 and 1:20 . Most professors are lenient and some professors are really strict and dont teach well and sometimes strict correction is also there . There are two types of exams mid sems and end semester exam in which midsems are out of 30 and endsems are out of 50 and internal assesment of 20 marks
Interview Experience
U have to write jee main that is the main thing for admission and to crack this exam practice previous year question paper and study ncert book. There was no interview or stuff like that once u cleared jee then there is special counselling process called josaa or dasa
